Applications Open for In-Person SENAI Courses in São Paulo with Monthly Financial Support, Selection by Electronic Lottery, and Focus on Professional Qualification for Residents of Areas Related to Petrobras Operations in the State.

SENAI-SP and Petrobras have opened applications for 520 spots in free in-person professional qualification courses in the state of São Paulo, with a monthly scholarship of up to R$ 858, according to the rules of the notice.

The training programs are part of the Petrobras Autonomy and Income Program, developed in partnership with Firjan SESI and executed by SENAI, and are intended for residents of areas influenced by the company’s operations in the state.

The spots are targeted for the first semester of 2026.

The courses are concentrated in municipalities hosting industrial units linked to Petrobras.

The selection process will be held through a public electronic lottery, without a test, following the schedule published in the official notice.

SENAI Units and Courses Available in the Program

The opportunities are distributed across in-person classes in SENAI units located in São José dos Campos, Paulínia, Cubatão, Mauá, and Santo André.

The notice also considers candidates residing in surrounding municipalities eligible, as long as they are part of the areas influenced by Petrobras operations in the state of São Paulo.

The offered courses are directed at technical and operational occupations related to industry and maintenance.

Among the planned formations are boilermaker, scaffold assembler, formwork and shoring, refractory bricklayer, signalman, welder in the electrode process, and building maintenance assistant.

The workload and shifts vary according to the course and the SENAI unit responsible for the class.

According to the notice, classes will be in person.

The start is scheduled for February 23, 2026, with possible adjustments depending on class organization and the availability of executing units.

Monthly Scholarship and Conditions for Receipt

Selected and enrolled participants will be entitled to a monthly scholarship of R$ 660.

The amount can be increased to R$ 858 for women with children up to 11 years and 11 months old.

The increase in value is conditioned on the presentation of supporting documentation at the time of enrollment, according to the rules set out in the notice.

The scholarship payment is made by Firjan SESI.

The benefit is linked to the student’s attendance in the course.

The notice states that the scholarship is characterized as financial support during the training period, without establishing an employment relationship or future obligation with Petrobras or SENAI.

To receive the amount, the student must have a bank account in their name.

The document indicates that accounts with specific restrictions for receiving social benefits may not be accepted for scholarship payment.

Who Can Apply and Priority Criteria

Candidates over 18 years old may apply.

It is necessary to meet the minimum educational requirement for the chosen course.

It is also mandatory to prove a per capita family income of up to half the minimum wage.

Another criterion is to reside in the locality where the course will be offered or in municipalities considered part of the area influenced by Petrobras operations in the state.

The notice establishes priority criteria for populations in situations of social vulnerability.

Among the groups covered are unemployed individuals, women, people with disabilities, transgender individuals, Black and Brown people, Indigenous people, quilombolas, migrants, and refugees.

Prioritization occurs within the electronic lottery itself.

The fitting considers the information declared at the time of application and subsequent verification of documentation at enrollment.

The occupation of spots follows percentages and rules detailed in the notice.

If there is inconsistency between the provided information and the documentation submitted, the candidate may be disqualified.

Lottery Schedule and Selection Stages

According to the official schedule, applications opened on December 8, 2025.

The deadline to apply ends at 6 PM on December 19, 2025.

Participation is free.

There is no fee charged at any stage of the process.

The public electronic lottery is scheduled for January 7, 2026.

The announcement of results is expected on January 12, 2026.

The selected candidates must complete a pre-enrollment online.

Then, it will be necessary to appear in person at the indicated SENAI unit to finalize enrollment within the established timeframe.

The notice provides for supplementary calls to fill remaining vacancies.

It also establishes minimum attendance and performance criteria for course completion and issuance of the professional qualification certificate.

How to Apply for the Petrobras Autonomy and Income Program

Applications must be made exclusively online, through the official website of the Petrobras Autonomy and Income Program. Registration must be completed within the deadline indicated in the notice.

The applicant needs to fill out the form carefully, as the provided data will be used for classification within the social criteria and for document verification in the subsequent stages.
