Registrations can be made directly through the official website of the institution.
The offer caters to both those who have completed high school and students who are still attending this stage of education.
The initiative is part of a strategy to expand professional training and meet the growing demand for qualified workers in the local industry, which, according to experts, will require approximately 207,000 skilled professionals by 2027.
Beneficiaries of Social Programs Hesitate to Enroll
Despite the wide range of courses and the growing demand in the job market, the president of the Federation of Industries of Mato Grosso do Sul (Fiems), Sérgio Longen, highlighted the difficulty in filling these spots.
According to him, many beneficiaries of social programs are afraid that by seeking professional qualification, they might lose the benefits they receive.
“During the registration process, the question that most often arises at Senai is: ‘If I take this qualification, can I lose my social benefit?’. This is a concern, and we always say no”, Longen stated in an interview.
Experts emphasize that participation in technical or vocational courses does not result in the loss of social benefits, such as the Continuous Cash Benefit (BPC) and Bolsa Família.
The current legislation allows beneficiaries to pursue training without the risk of benefit cancellation, as long as there is no significant increase in family income.
Industrial Sectors Demand Skilled Professionals
The economy of Mato Grosso do Sul has shown significant growth in recent years, particularly in the sectors of agribusiness, mining, logistics, and technology.
Local companies have reported difficulties in finding qualified professionals, making technical training a priority to maintain the state’s competitiveness in the national industrial scene.
Senai has invested in infrastructure to ensure that the courses offered meet market needs.
With modern laboratories, experienced instructors, and updated teaching materials, the institution seeks to prepare students for real challenges in the productive sector.
