The announcement that Sesi offers free degree to train teachers marks a rare opportunity for those wishing to enter higher education at no cost. The Sesi Faculty of Education, recognized for its academic excellence, has opened registrations for the 2026 Entrance Exam, which offers 340 places in six face-to-face degree programs, all full-time.
In addition to being free, the differential lies in the practical experience in schools from the start of the course, associated with financial aid programs to support students during their education. This initiative seeks to meet the growing demand for qualified educators in Brazil while also valuing the teaching profession.
Who Can Participate and How the Selection Process Works
The selection process is already open and will run until October 21, 2025, with the test scheduled for November 1, conducted online. The evaluation will last up to three hours and will consist of objective multiple-choice questions covering High School content.

Which Courses Are Available
The entrance exam opens opportunities in six degree programs: Physical Education, Natural Sciences, Humanities, Language, Mathematics, and Pedagogy – the latter being the major new addition for the 2026 edition. All programs have a duration of four years, full-time, and combine theory and practice from the first semester.
With curricula based on interdisciplinarity and aligned with the BNCC (National Common Curriculum Base), the courses promote innovative training.
