With Shell’s Recent Acquisitions in the Brazilian Pre-Salt, the Anglo-Dutch Oil Company Begins Contingency Plans for Its Teams for Exploration and Research Projects

Engineers from various backgrounds have been called by Shell Brazil to participate in the selection processes due to newly signed and ongoing projects. These positions are in the E&P area with application deadlines; some positions will close on June 5 and 6, so please ensure you meet the requested qualifications. Reservoir Engineer ⇒ Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent; M.Sc. or Ph.D. preferred. Minimum of 7 years of work experience as a reservoir/oil engineer.
Petrophysicist ⇒ (Bachelor’s) in Engineering, Physics, Geophysics, Geosciences, or equivalent. Master’s and/or Ph.D. preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in Petrophysics and related subsurface evaluation work in a variety of geological settings.
Senior Research Engineer ⇒ Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Engineering, Physics, or equivalent; M.Sc. or Ph.D. preferred. Minimum of 10 years of solid and varied work experience as a reservoir/oil engineer.

The universal requirements that candidates must possess are: Fluent in Portuguese and English, spoken and written; proven project management skills; strong people management and communication skills; demonstrable experience in managing internal and external stakeholders.
