The DOF Subsea Contracts Cover Offshore Activities in Sergipe and Phase Two Projects in Peregrino, in the Campos Basin Under Equinor’s Command

DOF Subsea Group secured two contracts in Brazil. The first contract was awarded by Sapura Energy do Brasil in Northeast Brazil for the end client CELSE (Centrais Elétricas de Sergipe S.A.). The Skandi Seven will be used for this project and will perform a Riser and Umbilical installation for a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) to supply natural gas to CELSE’s power plant. The project has a duration of 20 days with options for 4 x 5 days starting from the last week of May.

Secondly, the PLSV Skandi Niterói is committed to TechnipFMC for the Phase II SURF Peregrino Project by Equinor in Brazil. It will begin operations in the coming months on this project announced by TechnipFMC on September 28, 2017. Skandi Niterói, a flexible lay and construction vessel with a Brazilian flag, was built in Brazil and is owned by a Joint Venture formed by DOF (50%) and TechnipFMC (50%).

The CEO, Mons Aase, states that he is very pleased with the awards of this contract, which confirms the strong position of the DOF Group in the South American region.

These contracts were first announced on the Oslo stock exchange through a press release at 2:00 PM, May 22, 2019. See the official and complete statement at http://www.dofsubsea.com/
