Solinftec Opens Robot Factory in Mexico with Million-Dollar Investment, Expanding Global Presence and Strengthening Agricultural Technology.

Solinftec, a reference in agricultural technology and automation, has just taken another strategic step towards the internationalization of its operations. The Brazilian company has inaugurated a new robot factory in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, with the capacity to produce up to 1,000 units per year.

The investment in the new industrial plant exceeds R$ 20 million, reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation and technological advancement in the field.

The new unit joins the already existing ones in Brazil and the United States, raising the company’s total number of factories to three.

Founded in Araçatuba (SP), Solinftec began its international journey with a development center in China, responsible for creating and supplying electronic components used in the assembly of equipment.

Subsequently, the company installed production units in Araçatuba and Richmond, Indiana (USA), both with a manufacturing capacity of 800 robots per year.

According to Leonardo Carvalho, Chief Global Strategy Officer of the company, the choice of Mexico was due to the strategic position of the country, especially regarding distribution to Latin America and North America.

“In light of the constant changes in the international trade landscape, we want to ensure that Solinftec is prepared for sustainable global expansion. Mexico offers favorable and flexible logistics,” said the executive.

The new factory has already delivered its first robot and will initially meet the growing demand from the United States, where Solinftec has been expanding its presence in key states such as Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Texas.

Even with tariff and political uncertainties, such as possible tariff increases imposed by the U.S. government, Carvalho assured that the company has a sufficiently flexible structure to adapt to different scenarios.

“We can assemble the robots anywhere that offers us the best logistical and cost conditions, always prioritizing the rural producer.”

Currently, Solinftec operates 150 robots in Brazil, the USA, and Colombia, working in crops such as soybeans, corn, cotton, wheat, and sugarcane. The ambitious goal is to reach 700 robots in operation by the end of 2025.

With this new factory, Solinftec consolidates its leadership position in agricultural robotics, combining cutting-edge technology, artificial intelligence, and a focus on sustainable and efficient agribusiness.
