These courses are mainly aimed at the training of teachers and other education professionals, allowing students to specialize in specific areas of knowledge, contributing to the improvement of the quality of education in Brazil.

The 10 EAD Degree Courses Offered by UFS Cover Various Areas of Knowledge. Each Course Has Limited Spots, Distributed Among Different In-Person Support Poles. Below, Check the List of Courses and the Respective Cities Where the slots are available:
- Degree in Portuguese Language: Arauá, Colônia 13 – Lagarto, Nossa Senhora das Dores, Poço Verde, São Cristóvão (20 slots in each city).
- Degree in Spanish Language: Arauá, Brejo Grande, Nossa Senhora das Dores, Porto da Folha (20 slots in each city).
- Degree in English Language: Brejo Grande, Estância, Nossa Senhora da Glória, Poço Verde (20 slots in each city).
- Degree in History: Arauá, Brejo Grande, Estância, Colônia 13 – Lagarto, Nossa Senhora das Dores, São Cristóvão, São Domingos (20 slots in each city).
- Degree in Philosophy: Brejo Grande, Estância, Nossa Senhora das Dores, Nossa Senhora da Glória, Porto da Folha (20 slots in each city).
- Degree in Geography: Estância, Nossa Senhora da Glória, São Cristóvão (20 slots in each city).
- Degree in Mathematics: Estância, Colônia 13 – Lagarto, Nossa Senhora das Dores, Nossa Senhora da Glória, São Cristóvão (20 slots in each city).
- Degree in Physics: Arauá, Estância, Colônia 13 – Lagarto (25 slots in each city).
- Degree in Chemistry: Arauá, Estância, Colônia 13 – Lagarto, Porto da Folha (25 slots in each city).
- Degree in Biological Sciences: Arauá, Poço Verde (20 slots in each city).
How to Enroll and What to Expect from the Selection Process
Enrollment for These Courses Is Already Open and Must Be Done Exclusively Through the Portal of the UFS Commission of Competitions and Entrance Exams Until August 23, 2024. To Enroll, It Is Necessary to Pay an Enrollment Fee of R$ 40.00.
The Selection Process Will Consist of an Exam That Will Assess Knowledge in Various Areas, Such as Portuguese Language, Mathematics, Geography, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, History, and an Essay.
The Level of Difficulty of the Questions Will Be Equivalent to High School, Ensuring That All Candidates Have a Fair Evaluation in Line with Their Knowledge.
Results and Enrollment for the Degree
The Classification of Candidates Interested in Becoming Teachers Will Be Based on the Scores Obtained in the Exam, and the Results Will Be Disclosed on the Selection Process Website in Descending Order of Scores.
According to the Announcement, Enrollment for Approved Candidates Will Follow the Institutional Academic Calendar, Which May Be Adjusted if Necessary.
