Main Responsibilities of the Position
The Offshore Safety Technician will be responsible for conducting internal SMS (Safety, Environment, and Health) inspections, providing safety training and introductions to employees, keeping procedures updated, supervising their implementation in operations, and ensuring the effective application of Life-Saving Rules.
Among other activities, they must disseminate norms and procedures, ensure that risk assessments are met, promote safe operational techniques such as Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and oversee the compliance of equipment and subcontractors on site.
