The National School of Public Administration (Enap) has opened registration for the 4th edition of the MBA in Public Management, a lato sensu postgraduate course in the distance learning modality, aimed at federal, state, and municipal public servants and military personnel of the Armed Forces. Who can apply?
The vacancies are aimed at federal, state and municipal public servants who hold permanent positions, as well as members of the Armed Forces. Another important point is that applications are also accepted from federal public employees who have passed public exams for companies that receive federal funds to pay their personnel.
Among the requirements, candidates must have an undergraduate degree recognized by the MEC and cannot be enrolled in another lato sensu or stricto sensu postgraduate program at Enap. In addition, it is necessary not to have taken another MBA or specialization course at Enap in the last two years. Candidates who have already been dismissed from any course at the institution in the last two years will also not be able to participate.
How does the selection process work?
The selection process will be carried out in two phases: curriculum analysis and assessment of the report. The curriculum analysis will value academic training and experience in public administration, especially for those who hold or have held leadership positions. The assessment of the report requires candidates to report their motivations for participating in the course and how it will contribute to their career development and improvements in the public sector.
Candidates who achieve the minimum scores in both phases will be eligible to fill one of the 300 vacancies offered. It is important to note that the vacancies are distributed in specific groups (federal, state and municipal), with reservations for black, indigenous and disabled people, ensuring gender parity.
What is the deadline for registration?
After the final results are announced, scheduled for December 2024, successful candidates will have until January 10, 2025 to enroll. To enroll, candidates must present documents such as a degree, proof of effective employment with the government, and authorization from their immediate superior, as described in the notice. The inaugural class is scheduled for January 27, 2025.
