GreenYellow and Renault’s Subsidiary Join Forces to Increase Sales of Electric Vehicles
The French company specializing in energy efficiency, GreenYellow, has entered into an agreement with Mobilize, part of the Renault Group, to have priority in supplying electric chargers to consumers of electric vehicles from the automaker. The partnership between both is strategic, as it enables a new avenue for growth for the renewable energy producer, GreenYellow, and also solidifies the action of both brands in a rapidly expanding sector.
Data provided by Anfavea (National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers) indicates that by 2035, electric or hybrid vehicles will account for 65% of sales by automakers in Brazil.
Partnership Between GreenYellow and Renault’s Subsidiary Focused on Corporate Sales
The partnership between the two companies, GreenYellow and Renault, is focused on corporate sales in the B2B market. As explained by GreenYellow’s commercial director: “The idea is to assist them in developing and implementing electric charger infrastructure, especially for Mobilize customers, who are retail clients, those who have fleets or are planning to have fleets of electric cars.”

All investment in the partnership to supply chargers for electric energy vehicles will be made by GreenYellow, which will use its own resources to provide the necessary charging stations. The consumer who owns an electric vehicle will pay for the rental of the electric charger and will also pay an additional fee for the operation and maintenance of the device. Thus, the user of the electric car (which can be rented from Mobilize itself) no longer has to worry about acquiring a charging station and can enjoy a rental service.
