Expansion With Direct Impact on Job Creation
The Aracruz factory emerges as part of Suzano’s strategy to expand its tissue production in Brazil, bringing development and opportunities to the region.
A total of 60,000 tons of toilet paper and other high-absorption items are expected annually.
This number is double the production of the company’s unit in Cachoeiro, which began operations in 2021.
The new positions opened by Suzano are mainly aimed at residents of the cities of Aracruz, João Neiva, and Ibiraçu.
The company aims to increase its workforce by 20 new employees in this second selection phase, expected to take place until November 3, 2024, as stated by the company.
This expansion not only represents a milestone for Suzano but also provides local labor with the chance to secure stable positions in a growing sector.
Details of the Selection Process and Requirements
In September, 30 candidates were already hired to join the initial staff of the factory in Aracruz.
Now, in this second phase, Suzano will create space for 20 new trainees, who will work directly in the tissue paper production.
Interested candidates must be over 18 years old, have completed high school, and reside in one of the three mentioned cities.
Additionally, having a completed technical course is considered an advantage for candidates.
The selection process includes both theoretical and practical training.
The theoretical training takes place at Senai in Aracruz, from 8 AM to 5 PM, while practical training will be held at another Suzano unit.
This allows the new hires to acquire the necessary knowledge to operate with tissue, a material that is highly absorbent and essential in the production of sanitary products.
Quality and Cutting-edge Technology: The Factory’s Differential
The unit being built in Aracruz follows the model of another Suzano factory that already operates in Cachoeiro, with the capacity to produce 30,000 tons of tissue paper per year, which is equivalent to an impressive 1 million rolls daily.
However, the structure in Aracruz will be even more robust, doubling the production of the Cachoeiro plant.
The tissue paper produced at this unit will be aimed at products such as toilet paper, and the factory will feature state-of-the-art technology to ensure high quality and efficiency in the process.
This is another step for Suzano in the process of vertical integration of production, reinforcing its competitiveness and ensuring that Espírito Santo remains on the radar of major investors in the industrial sector.
Deadline for Applications and Registration Location
Those interested in joining this growth phase of Suzano should apply on the official job site of the company by November 3, 2024.
According to Suzano, the hiring will be done under the CLT regime, with an initial training process aimed at developing specific skills for tissue production, enhancing quality in the process and valuing local labor.
A Bet for the Future of the Region?
This mega-investment in Aracruz represents a significant opportunity not only for the residents of the region but also for the development of the local economy.
With a factory designed to become one of the largest in the sector in the country, Suzano demonstrates its belief in the potential of Espírito Santo to establish itself as a center of excellence in the paper and pulp sector.
