The organization of the vacancies follows the division reported by outlets that reproduced the data from the notice, with 70% for general competition, 25% for PPIQ candidates, and 5% for people with disabilities.
EAD Pathway of IFSP Barretos Focuses on jQuery, Bootstrap, and Materialize
The three courses have been structured for those seeking an accessible entry into well-known interface development tools, always in EAD modality and requiring basic computer knowledge, with no enrollment fee.
In the official statement from the campus, IFSP confirms that the programs are free, remote, and intended for candidates who already master basic computer usage.
The pathway includes a classic library for web page manipulation, in the case of jQuery, and two frameworks aimed at building responsive interfaces, Bootstrap and Materialize, in independent but complementary courses.
Although the campus notice includes nine extension courses and 4,500 vacancies in total, this specific focus concentrates on the three training courses directly linked to web development.
Distribution of Vacancies by Course and Modality
Each course offers 500 vacancies, according to the distribution reproduced by education platforms that detailed the numbers by competition modality based on Notice No. 13/2026 from the Barretos Campus.
In this division, there are 350 vacancies for general competition, 125 for black, brown, indigenous, and quilombola candidates, and 25 for people with disabilities in each of the three programs.
This structure allows candidates to choose one or more programs in the web development area according to their interest, provided they observe the criteria and deadlines set by the simplified selection process of the campus.
At the same time, the model expands access to introductory and intermediate content in technologies largely associated with page assembly, visual components, and responsive layouts.
Applications at IFSP Barretos Open Until March 20
Applications must be made exclusively online, via an electronic form indicated by IFSP Barretos, from February 27 to March 20, 2026, without any fee payment.
The official campus page further informs that the preliminary list of registered and classified candidates will be released on March 23, with an appeal period on March 24 and 25.
After this step, the final result is expected to be announced on March 26, 2026 on the official website of the Barretos Campus, while the start of classes has been announced for March 30, as per the institutional schedule published.
Since the classification occurs by order of application, the early submission of the form tends to be decisive for those aiming to secure one of the vacancies reserved for the web development area.
Selection by Order of Application and Waiting List
The selection process does not foresee exam, curriculum analysis, or public draw, as the campus has expressly stated that the selection will automatically classify the first applicants who meet the required prerequisites.

A waiting list equivalent to 20% of the vacancies for each course will also be formed, a mechanism adopted to fill any withdrawals and maintain class occupancy after the first call of classified candidates.
