Job Openings Available For Various Areas At The GWM Factory
These job openings are for contracted positions, and workers will have benefits such as health insurance, dental plan, life insurance, meal vouchers, food, shuttle transport, gym partnerships, and private pension.
GWM reported that the factory is expected to begin operations in May 2025, marking a new phase for electric vehicle production in Brazil and generating many job opportunities in the region.
Ricardo Bastos, director of Institutional Affairs at GWM in Brazil, explained that the job vacancies offered are for professionals with varying experiences.
He emphasized that the manufacturer is not only looking for people with experience in the automotive sector but also professionals with experience in other areas.
“The GWM factory has a great diversity of demands, and the job vacancies are open to people from various professional fields,” stated the director.
Bastos also highlighted GWM’s commitment to attracting women and other groups to work at the electric car factory.
“We want to make our factory a representative environment, with a diversity of professionals in all sectors of electric car production,” he added.

The GWM Electric Car Factory In Iracemápolis
GWM acquired the former Mercedes-Benz automobile factory plant in Iracemápolis in 2021.
The GWM factory in Iracemápolis occupies an area of 1.2 million square meters, where significant modernizations have been carried out.
The factory has been equipped with advanced digital processes and an intelligent assembly line focused on electric car production.
Initially, the GWM factory will produce about 25,000 electric cars per year, focusing on the Haval SUV model.
However, GWM plans to expand its production capacity at the factory, aiming to reach 50,000 units annually over the next three years.
GWM is investing in Iracemápolis to make the factory a center of excellence in electric car production and, in addition, to expand its operations in the Brazilian market and in Latin America.
Manufacturer Investments In Brazil
GWM is investing over R$ 10 billion in Brazil, of which R$ 4 billion is allocated to the electric car factory in Iracemápolis.
This investment reflects GWM’s commitment to strengthening its presence in Brazil and Latin America.
The remaining amount, about R$ 6 billion, will still be allocated to future projects in Brazil, focusing on the development of the manufacturer and the expansion of electric car production.
