PRIO, the largest independent oil and gas company in Brazil, is accepting applications for Young Engineers, the PRIO Trainee Program 2022. The goal of the program is to train fully qualified professionals in the oil and gas industry, with operational experience in offshore units and involvement in major projects with the largest independent gas and oil operator in the country. The program will be divided into two main periods.
- Offshore – Where participants will be supervised by PRIO leadership in their specific positions in the Maintenance and Production areas at the company’s offshore units.
- Onshore – Where the training will be within the Operations division; during this phase, participants will learn about various areas of PRIO and participate in different projects.
Who Can Participate in the PRIO 2022 Trainee Program?
PRIO is looking for young talents focused on achieving high levels of performance and quality. Seeking professionals who have self-control, courage, and ambition necessary to achieve their most important goals and who meet the following basic requirements:
- A maximum of 3 years since graduation in any Engineering course;
- Practical knowledge of reading, writing, and speaking in English;
- Ability and willingness to travel and stay in Rio de Janeiro throughout the onshore part of the PRIO Trainee Program 2022.

How to Apply for the PRIO 2022 Trainee Program
Applications for the program are already open and can be made through the website via this link. The selection process for the PRIO Trainee Program 2022 will be divided into 6 stages; first, interested candidates must apply, then they will undergo online tests and record a presentation video in the third stage.
After these first three stages, selected candidates will need to participate in two in-person events in Rio de Janeiro; the first will be a group dynamics session, followed by a Bootcamp with the finalists. In the sixth and final stage, the company’s proposals will be presented to the selected candidates.
