New Tronsmart Speaker Hits The Market With Great Battery Life, Sound Quality, And Splash Resistance, Promising To Surpass JBL Models In Sales.
Tronsmart has just launched its latest speaker called the Halo 300 for medium to large parties. According to the company, the model is a mini stage on wheels, featuring two 8-inch woofers, 3-inch mid-tweeters, and 2.25-inch tweeters developed in a 3-way system that delivers 111 dB of sound pressure and covers an area equivalent to a basketball court. In this article, we will detail everything about Tronsmart’s speaker.
Main Highlights Of The New Speaker
In practice, the tweeters angled at 270 degrees spread the sound to the sides, creating a more open stage feel, essential for those who do not want blind spots on the dance floor. In addition to the sound, the Halo 300 is equipped with pulsating LEDs in 5 modes, microphone support, and XLR input for DJ mixers and guitars.
All of this comes in an IPX4 housing, with a retractable handle and wheels that resemble travel luggage. Newly released, at first glance, the Halo 300 commands respect, as it weighs 14.6 kg distributed in a 75 x 36 x 40 cm device, entirely made of reinforced ABS. The front grille features a luminous ring that connects to the name Halo and does not appear to be cheap plastic.

Satellites and radars revealed, beneath 2 kilometers of ice in Antarctica, a lost world the size of Wales, with rivers, valleys 1,200 meters deep, and plateaus sculpted by water, frozen for 34 million years, when the continent had temperate forests and was part of a supercontinent that included South America.
On the top of the new Tronsmart speaker, there is a rubber ring, rolling well on cold floors, smooth concrete, and even wood. For those who take their music anywhere, this portability is gold. Instead of focusing on full-range drivers trying to cover the entire spectrum, Tronsmart opted for a 2+2 configuration, with two channels for bass and two channels for mids or highs, split into three frequency bands.
There are 2 8-inch woofers that deliver punch from 40 Hz to 150 Hz, 2 3-inch mid-tweeters, responsible for clear vocals and mid-range instruments, and 2 2.25-inch tweeters, mounted on the sides and angled at 45 degrees, spreading the shimmer of cymbals and synthesizers up to 20 kHz.
See How The Device Works In Practice
With this architecture, it is possible to use an internal active crossover, reducing distortion even at high SPL. Thus, it is possible to hear the strong beat but also perceive the sound of the guitar or hi-hat without muddling.
The brand tested the Halo 300 in three settings, namely a 25 m² living room, a 60 m² condominium hall, and an outdoor area of 100 m². In the first test, at 30% volume, the environment was already filled. SoundPulse nailed the bass without overemphasizing.
In the second test, 65% volume was enough to make conversations difficult, but not enough to disturb neighbors. Finally, in the third test, at 85% volume, it was possible to reach peaks of 109 dB at 1 m, still clear. Moreover, the icing on the cake came when pairing two units in stereo; the soundstage expanded in width, creating a live concert feel that many speakers on the market do not deliver.
Battery Of The New Speaker Delivers Up To 20 Hours Of Autonomy
In terms of inputs and connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3 has a range of 15m and lower latency. Thus, the device streams without drops and synchronizes videos. The universal 3.5 mm analog input allows you to connect a laptop, TV, and mixer. There is also an input for a USB drive or 10W power bank, which plays MP3 or charges a phone, P10 with individual gain, to ensure karaoke is covered.
With a 27,000 mAh (11.1 V) capacity, the new Tronsmart Halo 300 lasts up to 20 hours with LEDs off and volume at 50%. In tests, 70% volume and moderate light still exceeded 12 hours before the low battery warning sounded. The external 90W charger takes about 5 hours for a full charge.
Additionally, it is suitable for outdoor parties. The IPX4 certification guarantees protection against splashes. However, do not confuse it; it is not meant to be submerged or exposed to heavy rain. And, when compared to other models on the market, the device offers advantages in weight, price, and input flexibility, matching JBL in power and falling behind Sony only in maximum autonomy.
