According to a report released by the European Sustainable Mobility Council, the proposal aims to connect all capitals and major cities on the continent, extending as far as Turkey and Ukraine. The Tube for Europe infrastructure will also be designed to include multi-functional stations, offering cultural spaces, shops and leisure areas. The German Transport Engineering Association has pointed out that this approach can improve the user experience and promote rail transport as a more sustainable alternative.

The “Tube for Europe” will feature advanced safety systems, including artificial intelligence for risk monitoring and automatic speed control. As reported by the International Rail Transport Federation, this management model can reduce accidents and ensure greater travel efficiency.
