The State University of Ceará (UECE), in partnership with the Institute for Development, Strategy, and Knowledge (Idesco), Dell Research, Development, and Innovation Center (Lead), and the Health Secretariat of the State of Ceará (Sesa), has opened registrations for one thousand spots in free online and distance learning courses for residents of the state of Ceará. Registrations for the Free and Accessible Professional Qualification Program began on the 8th and can be done online until September 26th.

The one thousand spots are divided among four course tracks for candidates from Ceará. The free online and distance learning courses offered by UECE and Dell are:
- Customer Service
- Introduction to Web Accessibility
- Basic English 1
- Automated Testing (TDD+BDD)
- Basic English 2
- Flutter
- Fundamentals of Object-Oriented Programming with Java (JB1)
- Introduction to Programming Logic.
It is important to note that individuals with disabilities registered in the Sesa Disability Support Program, individuals in social vulnerability, and family members of people with disabilities or registered in the Ceará Early Childhood Program will have priority for the free online and distance learning course spots.

How To Register For The Free Online Courses From UECE And Dell?
To register for the program, just access the registration site and click on “Register.” You will be directed to a new site to perform a pre-registration where you should enter the following information: Full Name, Email, CPF, Phone, Birthdate, Gender, Country, City, and State. If the participant has any type of disability, it is possible to choose accessibility tools such as:
- Virtual Keyboard
- Voice Command
- High Contrast
- Increase/Decrease Font
- Video in Sign Language
- Sound Alerts
- Translate Sign Language to Text and vice versa
- Accessible Navigation Assistant
At the time of registration, the candidate may select only one track. It is important to highlight that each track consists of two free online courses, which will be offered sequentially to residents of Ceará.
The second course will only be offered to those who pass the first. As a selection method, candidates will take an online exam on the DAL platform, at the time chosen during registration.
The classes are completely online, through the DAL learning platform and also via the “Accessible Learning” app, which is available on the App Store and Play Store. Classes are scheduled to start on October 11th. The courses foresee flexible schedules with EAD tutors’ support, as well as technical support teams and pedagogical teams.
