UECE and Dell open 1.000 places in free distance learning courses in Ceará, on a fully accessible platform aimed at people with disabilities
Ceará State University (UECE) and Dell Technologies have reopened enrollment for thousands of free online distance learning courses for the Free Professional Accessible Qualification Program, carried out by Lead. Registration will be available until May 9th (Sunday).

In total, 29 places will be made available in XNUMX free courses in the EAD modality, in Ceará, aimed at students with or without disabilities, exclusively for Higher Education students, or from Ceará enrolled in undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of Computing , Information Systems, Systems and Digital Media, Computer Engineering, Digital Games, Software Development Analysis, Computer Networks, Degree in Computing and other related areas.
The project will be carried out with investments from DELL COMPUTADORES DO BRASIL LTDA, therefore, they will be free courses, with no burden on the population of Ceará.

Understand how the classes of the free EAD courses from UECE and Dell will be taught
The classes of the courses will take place over the internet in the EAD modality, with e-learning methodology, with access through the “Aprendizado Acessível” app (For Android and iOS) and also through the DAL platform.
Classes are scheduled to start on May 24, 2021. During the course, students will be accompanied by tutors, pedagogical staff and technical support from the teaching platform, with priority given to people with disabilities.
The platform has accessible features, such as sound alerts, virtual keyboard, voice command, Libras interpreters and videos, font resizing, high contrast and audio description of images.
