UECE and Dell Open 1,000 Slots in Free Online Courses in Ceará, on a Fully Accessible Platform for People with Disabilities
The State University of Ceará (UECE) and Dell Technologies have reopened registrations for thousands of free online EAD courses for the Free Accessible Professional Qualification Program, conducted by Lead. Registrations will be available until May 9 (Sunday).

A total of 1,000 slots will be available in 29 free EAD courses in Ceará, aimed at students with or without disabilities, exclusively for higher education students in Ceará enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs in the areas of Computing, Information Systems, Digital Media, Computer Engineering, Digital Games, Software Analysis and Development, Computer Networks, Computer Education, and other related areas.
The project will be carried out with investments from DELL COMPUTERS DO BRAZIL LTD, thus, the courses will be free, with no cost to the population of Ceará.

Understand How Classes Will Be Taught for the Free EAD Courses from UECE and Dell
The courses will be held online in EAD format, with e-learning methodology, accessible through the “Accessible Learning” app (for Android and iOS) and also through the DAL platform.
The classes are expected to start on May 24, 2021. Throughout the course, students will be supported by tutors, pedagogical staff, and technical support from the teaching platform, with priority for people with disabilities.
The platform has accessible features, such as sound alerts, virtual keyboard, voice command, interpreters and LIBRAS videos, font resizing, high contrast, and audio description of images.
