UFES Opens 200 Spots in Free Postgraduate Course in Health and Prevention. Registrations are Open Until August 31 and Include Professionals from Different Areas in Espírito Santo

The UFES opens 200 spots in a free postgraduate course in Violence Prevention, Health Promotion, and Comprehensive Care, aimed at professionals who wish to specialize in public policies for protection and support. The course will have a duration of 18 months, a workload of 360 hours, and will be offered in a blended format, with hubs in different cities in Espírito Santo.

According to the university, the initiative aims to strengthen the care network and equip professionals to face challenges related to health and violence prevention, promoting integrated practices among education, justice, social assistance, and public safety.

Who Can Register for the Free UFES Course

The 200 spots in the free course are open to graduates in courses recognized by the MEC in the fields of health, social assistance, education, justice, public safety, and humanities.

It is necessary to reside in Espírito Santo and be available to participate in in-person meetings at the chosen hub. Registrations are free, online, and open until August 31, upon reading the announcement available on the SEAD/UFES website.

Where the In-Person Hubs Will Be Located

The in-person meetings of the specialization will take place at hubs distributed throughout the state. Confirmed locations include:

  • Afonso Cláudio – Alameda Nossa Senhora de Lourdes, n.º 111
  • Alegre – Centro de Ciências Agrárias, Alto Universitário, s/n
  • Baixo Guandu – Rua Duque de Caxias, n.º 123, Centro
  • Domingos Martins – Rua Carlos Luiz Faller, n.º 40
  • Serra – Biblioteca e Centro Cultural Carlos Corrêa Loyola, Av. Guarapari, s/n – Valparaíso

This decentralization facilitates access for professionals from different regions of Espírito Santo, expanding the reach of the training.

Structure of the Postgraduate Program

Iniciativas como essas, são necessário para que os profissionais possam trabalhar com conhecimento em políticas públicas de saúde e prevenção da violência,para que possamos intervir, aparar e planejar projetos para os usuários e a comunidade em geral E como a realidade as vezes não nós permite pagar para obter tamanho conhecimento .
