Unifap Is Offering More Than 5,000 Slots in Free Courses Across Various Municipalities in Amapá.

The Federal University of Amapá (Unifap) is offering more than 5,100 slots in free courses and extension projects. The university’s opportunities are geared towards languages, sign language, entrepreneurship, and knowledge in areas such as literature, writing, and geohistory. Registrations can be made from Wednesday (22) to Friday (24).

To participate in the free language, sign language, and entrepreneurship courses, simply access the announcement and click on the link for the desired course category. Each course has its own registration form, prerequisites, and number of slots. After completing and submitting the electronic form, candidates will receive a confirmation email. Be sure to check the announcement for the necessary documents to complete your registration. Read all the information carefully.

Unifap’s free courses are aimed at students, staff of the institution, and community members aged 16 and over. The classes for the free language, sign language, entrepreneurship, and other categories are scheduled to begin in October, through the university’s digital platform.

Requirements Proposed by Unifap for Each of the Free Courses

The institution highlights that the requirements and criteria set for each of the free courses are:

  • Be a resident of the municipality selected for the slots;
  • Have completed level I in the Young Bilingual project;
  • Be at least 16 years old;

For the course for translators and interpreters of sign language, there is an online test with questions to verify fluency in Sign Language and a translation test, conducted via Google Meet through the following link: https://meet.google.com/pzv-dsngkdo?authuser=2 on September 27, 2021, at 9 AM.

For the Geohistory course, it is required to be licensed in History or Geography/Sufficient in Geography.
