University of Akron in the United States Offers Scholarships for Brazilian Students

The University of Akron, in Ohio, the United States, is Offering Scholarships for Brazilians in Four Courses for 2022

The University of Akron has a great opportunity for Brazilians who want to study in the United States. The institution opened applications for the program that offers scholarships in four courses: management and leadership, sales management and negotiation, marketing strategies and innovation, and project management. Applications are open until January 21, and approved candidates will start in February 2022.

For each of these four courses, one full scholarship will be awarded, two scholarships covering 70%, in addition to more scholarships between 30% and 50%.

The university also emphasizes that the costs not included are: airfare, health insurance, visa fees, and a registration fee of US$ 120.

The Program:

The course has a duration of two weeks, with a total workload of 64 hours, divided into 32 hours of English classes and 32 hours of selected courses.

In the morning, all students have an English course focused on the business world, which provides tips on how to improve fluency in the language, along with activity tips and discussions on various themes. In the afternoon, the content addresses the theme of the selected course. Classes are from Monday to Thursday.

Anyone over 18 years old can participate if they are enrolled in or have completed higher education.

How to Register for the Program:

The interested candidate must access the LAIOB website. Applicants must answer personal questions to explain their reasons for registration and professional issues. Lack of extensive professional experience does not exclude candidates.

The results will be announced on all of the institute’s official pages on March 15.
