ISCTE (Instituto Universitário de Lisboa), a business school in Portugal, has opened a new selection process offering scholarships in partnership with Laiob (Latin America Institute of Business). By participating in this selection process, students can receive scholarships of up to 100%.
The scholarship offerings from the university located in Lisbon are for two courses: Innovation and Leadership in Project Management and Acceleration in International Business Management, the latter being a new offering from the University of Lisbon and Laiob.
The purpose of the scholarships for these courses is to encourage students to explore management trends in the field, improve planning techniques within the context of the course, and develop relevant skills, focusing on company management trends, thus empowering them.

About the University of Lisbon and Laiob
Founded in 1972, ISCTE is a public higher education institution in Portugal focused on graduate studies and scientific research. Its areas of specialization include business, sociology and public policy, social sciences, technology, and architecture.
Laiob, which specializes in short-term courses for training professionals in Latin America, selects candidates biannually for classes at universities in the United States, in February and July, in addition to classes in Portugal, in May and September, according to the Infomoney website.
Prerequisites And More Information About Scholarships And Courses At The University Of Lisbon
Candidates for scholarships for courses at the University of Lisbon must meet certain prerequisites to participate in the offering. These requirements are:
- Be over 18 years old;
- Be currently enrolled in or have completed higher education.
Additionally, candidates will be selected according to the criteria established by Laiob, including: Professional experience; Academic background; Life experiences; Responses to motivation questions; Performance in the interview.
The scholarship offerings are available to all students, allowing them to receive up to 100% of the scholarship. The amounts for the remaining scholarships are 2,280 euros (about R$ 12.4 thousand) for the 70% scholarships, and 3,800 euros (about R$ 20.6 thousand) for the 50% scholarships.
Applications For The Scholarship Offering At The University Of Lisbon

The questions on the form are basic personal data questions, professional questions, and explanations regarding the reason for your application for the scholarships at the University of Lisbon.
After evaluating the completed forms, approved candidates will go through an interview stage, which can be conducted via phone call or video conference, and will be scheduled individually for each candidate. These interviews will take place between March 6 and 24.
The final result will be published on March 27 for the 100% and 70% scholarships. For the 50% scholarships, the approved candidates will be informed individually via email in the following days. Good luck!
