Welder Irata/ Groundman

The welder irata will have the task of welding the parts to ensure greater durability. For that, it is important to have techniques oriented towards welding in general, especially offshore and at sea. Another activity intended for the welder is to cut metal parts, weld carbon steel and stainless steel, drill holes, and work with sheets and equipment.

Fabricator

The fabricator is a professional responsible for accommodating parts and correcting issues in sheets. This professional is increasingly in demand in the job market, not only offshore but also in textile industries.

The average salary of a fabricator in Brazil is around R$ 1800, but it can vary according to the company making the hire in relation to the size of the institution: the larger it is, the better the conditions tend to be for its employees. 

Supervisor Irata Techocean

The Supervisor Irata will work in confined spaces managing several teams. To qualify for the position, it is important to have some knowledge of rope use. Availability for longer trips and technical courses related to the field are required. 

One of the supervisor’s roles is to control the movement of loads and logistics in the offshore sector, organizing the teams and predicting deadlines for the workers’ deliveries. 

Welding Inspector

The welding inspector is responsible for analyzing the quality of the welds performed by the welders, while also identifying possible improvements and feedback. For that, it is important to have experience with welding various materials. 

Additionally, the inspector will be responsible for training new employees to be hired by the institution. The ideal candidate for this selection process should be someone with critical and quantitative thinking. 

TST – Technical Safety Officer  Techocean

Techocean is also hiring a technical safety officer, TST. To apply, it is important to be available to work both offshore and onshore.  Candidates must have a technical course in the field, and experience is a plus. 

The candidate should be a critical specialist and encourage other employees to use personal protective equipment (PPE). Another daily activity of the candidate will be conducting lectures to highlight the importance of following the rules and ensuring safety for oneself and other employees.
