Announcement of Approval of New Steel Was Made on World Energy Day and Reiterates Usiminas’ Commitment to Invest in Renewable Energies

Usiminas announced the approval of a new steel specifically designed for use in solar panel mounting structures and is now the only company in the world to have such a product.
The announcement was made on May 29, which celebrates World Energy Day, a date created to encourage the use of renewable energies on the planet.

The steel developed by Usiminas Solutions elevates the company to the level of the only manufacturer of a unique type of steel for this segment.

The product was named USI SAC SOLAR POWER and is characterized by a wide range of yield grades, being proudly announced on the company’s social media.

The steel has already debuted in a photovoltaic power generation plant, with a generation capacity of 14 MW, in Bahia.

According to Usiminas’ announcement, being present in projects that produce clean energy and thinking and investing in a better future for all of us.
