Panvel, Group SKA, and ERB Inaugurate Solar Power Plant in Montenegro – RS
The solar power plant with over 3,000 photovoltaic panels from Dimed/Panvel Pharmacies and Group SKA is located in Morro Fortaleza, in the interior of Montenegro. The solar power plant, installed and operated by ERB, has a capacity of 1,127 KWP, with 3,528 solar panels, an annual clean energy generation capacity of 1,680,000 KWH, and will supply 25 Panvel Pharmacies stores.

Third Solar Power Plant in RS
This is the third solar power plant from Panvel in the State, with the other two located in Vacaria and Rosário do Sul. The site, in the Fortaleza area, was chosen due to the terrain’s relief and logistical ease for its implementation.
The investment is about R$ 4 million, potentially generating energy for the equivalent of 842 households and reducing the emission of 196 thousand kilograms of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

Solar Energy Company Aims to Reduce Carbon Levels in the Atmosphere with Its New Plant in RS
“The Arno II solar power plant is part of the photovoltaic energy generation plan aimed at improving Panvel’s energy efficiency and integrates the company’s strategies focused on sustainable initiatives,” says Antonio Napp, Chief Financial Officer and Investor Relations Director of Panvel.
The company’s CEO states that one of his main objectives in creating this photovoltaic solar power plant in the interior of RS is not only to reduce the high level of carbon emissions but also to improve the quality of life for residents in the area.
“It is undoubtedly surprising to be part of a project of this magnitude, as would be the case with the Arno II solar power plant, working not only for renewable energy but also to generate jobs,” said Alexandre Kranz, Commercial Director of ERB Energia Regenerativa Brasil.
