The Inauguration of the Coremas III Photovoltaic Plant in Paraíba Took Place Yesterday and Was Attended by President Bolsonaro
Yesterday, on the 17th (Thursday), the inauguration of a photovoltaic plant, known as the Coremas III Photovoltaic Plant, located in Coremas, in the state of Paraíba, took place. The plant belongs to the private group Rio Alto Renewables and is expected to supply power to up to 300 thousand homes by next year. The inauguration was attended by President Jair Bolsonaro.

Besides Bolsonaro, the inauguration also had the presence of the Minister of Mines and Energy, Bento Albuquerque, who said while speaking at the event, “Our clean and renewable sources represent 85% of Brazil’s electricity generation, while the world average is 24%. This is a source of pride for all Brazilians and motivates us even more to always seek to serve consumers with sustainable resources and low greenhouse gas emissions.”
