Young People From Across The State Of Minas Gerais Will Be Able To Participate In The Selection Process And Compete For Internship Positions At Vallourec

Vallourec announced on Monday (27) the opening of a new selection process with dozens of new internship positions in its Young Apprentice program 2022. Those eligible to participate are young people up to 17 years old who have time availability. The opportunities cover the regions of Jaceba, Barreiro and all municipalities in Minas Gerais.

Young people up to 17 years old will have the great and unprecedented opportunity to participate in one of the best selection processes in Brazil. The internship program from Vallourec offers the chance for young people from the state of Minas Gerais to secure their first job.

In total, the company is offering 80 job opportunities in MG. In addition to securing a great job at one of the largest conglomerates in the steel sector in the country, the new employees will also participate in a professional qualification program.

Candidates Will Be Able To Choose From Several Areas Of Activity

Participants in the selection process of the Vallourec Young Apprentice program will be able to choose from the following areas of activity:

• Automation;
• Industrial Maintenance Mechanic;
• Logistics Process Operator (Exclusive position for young apprentices with disabilities);
• Electro-electronic Maintenance Electrician.

Those approved in the selection process of the Vallourec young apprentice program will work at the company for a period equal to or greater than 18 months, being 12 months only of theoretical classes with Senai and the remaining 6 months of practice at Vallourec.

Requirements To Participate In The Vallourec Young Apprentice Program

• Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Automation (Industrial Systems), and Electro-electronic Maintenance Electrician: must have been born between August 1, 2003, and August 1, 2005, currently attending high school.
• Steel Process Operator: specific for People with Disabilities and must be 18 years of age or older.

Throughout the course at Senai, young apprentices will be supervised by more experienced professionals from the company.
