Young people from all over the state of Minas Gerais will be able to participate in the selection process and compete for vacancies in the Vallourec internship program
Vallourec announced, this Monday (27), the opening of a new selection process with dozens of new internship vacancies in its 2022 Young Apprentice program. . Opportunities include regions of Jaceba, Barreiro and all municipalities in Minas Gerais.

Along with the young apprentice program, young people will be trained and ready to face new challenges in the current job market. In addition to added knowledge, the program can help young people make choices related to their profession,” comments Mirian Andrade, Human Resources analyst at Vallourec.
Candidates will be able to choose from several fields of expertise.
Participants in the Vallourec Young Apprentice program selection process will be able to choose from the following areas of expertise:
- Automation;
- Industrial maintenance mechanic;
- Logistic process operator (Exclusive vacancy for young apprentice with Disabilities);
- Electrical maintenance electrician.
Those approved in the selection process for the Vallourec young apprentice program will work at the company for a period equal to or longer than 18 months, 12 months of which will be just theoretical classes at Senai and the remaining 6 months of practice at Vallourec.
The company provides new hires with a series of benefits, such as: medical and dental assistance, stipend, basic Christmas basket, transport vouchers and agreements with partner companies.
Requirements to participate in the Young Apprentice Vallourec program
Were you interested in Vallourec's young apprentice opportunities? To participate in the program, participants must meet the following requirements:
- Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Automation (Industrial Systems) and Electro-electronic Maintenance Electrician: be born between August 1, 2003 and August 1, 2005, attending high school.
- Steel Process Operator: specific for People with Disabilities and already completed 18 years.
During the course at Senai, the young apprentices will be supervised by more experienced professionals from the company.
