The Registrations and Available Positions
Registrations for the IFTM competition have been open since September 6, 2024, and will close on October 7, 2024.
The Institute has made 52 vacancies available in total, with 21 for the position of Professor and 31 for Administrative Technicians in Education (TAE) at the Federal Institute. According to the published announcement, salaries range from R$ 2,667.19 to R$ 10,481.64, depending on the position and the candidate’s qualifications.
Candidates interested in the teacher positions should prepare for three selection stages, which include an objective test, a teaching performance test, and a title evaluation.
The specialties include subjects such as Administration, Biology, Physical Education, Electronics, Philosophy, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Tourism, among others.
As for administrative technicians, the process will consist only of the objective test, with questions on Portuguese Language, Legislation, and Specific Knowledge.

What really stands out in this competition are the salaries and the benefits offered to the approved candidates.
For teachers, the starting salary varies according to qualifications, which can begin at R$ 4,875.18 and reach R$ 10,481.64 for those with a doctorate.
Meanwhile, administrative technicians, depending on their level of education, can start with salaries of R$ 2,667.19 (secondary/technical level) or R$ 4,556.92 (higher education), with the possibility of reaching R$ 9,073.02 throughout their careers.

How to Participate in the Competition?
Registrations can be made directly on the Instituto Nosso Rumo website, the organizer of the competition, until October 7, 2024.
The registration fee varies according to the chosen position: R$ 75.00 for secondary/technical level, R$ 130.00 for higher education, and R$ 140.00 for teachers. Payment must be made by October 10, 2024, at 5 PM.
If you’re interested in participating, it’s important to keep an eye on the dates. The tests are scheduled for October 20, 2024, and it’s essential for candidates to be well prepared to secure one of the available positions.
For the position of administrative technician, the test will consist of 40 multiple-choice questions, divided among Portuguese Language, Legislation, and Specific Knowledge.
