How Does the Application Process Work?
Applications are already open and will close on October 7. If you are looking for a technical course, there are two types of applications: for integrated technical courses and subsequent courses, in addition to undergraduate courses. But pay attention to the fees: the amount for integrated courses is R$ 60, while for subsequent technical courses and undergraduate, the fee is R$ 30.

News for 2025: More Ease in Fee Waiver
If the fee is still a barrier, don’t worry! IFMG has introduced a great new feature for candidates opting for social quotas. Now, income verification will be done exclusively through the Unified Registry (CadÚnico), which simplifies the process and increases transparency in candidate selection. Those entitled to a fee waiver may request it until September 13.
To request the waiver, you need to access the application system and fill out the Application Form, selecting the “fee waiver” menu. Remember to attach the necessary documentation to prove your eligibility.
What to Do If There Are Payment Issues?
If you encounter issues with the processing of the payment, the candidate must contact IFMG by email vestibular@ifmg.edu.br, within the application period. Don’t forget to attach the payment receipt and provide your application details (such as application number, full name, CPF, course, and desired campus) so that your situation can be assessed.
