Chief Engineer 35×35
It is desirable for the chief engineer to hold PSV 3300 and Technical DP certifications. The professional will be responsible for identifying problems that may have arisen in the machinery in order to seek preventive maintenance and ensure they do not recur. One of the requirements to apply for this opportunity is to have experience working offshore.
Assistant Engineer
It is desirable that the candidate has already worked with UT 2500 vessels and control the boarding of new passengers. Ideally, they should be available to reside in any state in the Northeast (regions were not announced).
The role of an assistant engineer is similar to that of a chief engineer, responsible for assisting in the entire maintenance process and preventing problems that may arise in offshore machinery. Having brief knowledge of electrical and mechanical issues is a plus.
Salaries, according to the Vagas portal, may vary depending on the company hiring. However, the average monthly salary can reach up to R$ 10,000. Astromarítima, however, has not announced the amount offered to recruits.
It is necessary to be available for immediate boarding.
Harbor Master
The Harbor Master is responsible for navigation and docking of ships whenever necessary. Generally, companies require at least 5 years of offshore experience to work as a harbor master, but this is not a strict rule.
To be selected, it is desirable to reside in the state of Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and have all maritime navigation certifications up to date. Experience with PSV 3300 is also desirable.
Machine Operator
Similar to some positions mentioned earlier, the opportunity for a machine operator is aimed at those who reside in the state of Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and have experience with PSV 3300.
