The available position is for a Technical Specialist in Supply and Projects, based in Nova Lima, Minas Gerais, operating on administrative hours and in the “Remote with Frequent Access” work model. The selected professional will be responsible for the Procurement Plan and bidding processes for industrial megaprojects of Vale Base Metals in Brazil, Canada, and Indonesia. Job Requirements
To compete for this position, a complete Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (all specialties) is required. The candidate must have solid experience in mining, pulp, and large-scale infrastructure projects, as well as knowledge of project management methodologies and high complexity supply processes. It is essential to have strong analytical skills, decision-making and negotiation power, availability for travel, and fluent English. Differentiators include knowledge of AACE Cost Estimating practices, PMI, and an MBA in Project Management.
