In an interview with the CPG portal, Vestas says it intends to make first-class turbines available to customers for the Brazilian market
The biggest event in the wind sector Brazil Windpower was attended by Jonathan Colombo, responsible for the Sustainability, Marketing and Communication area at Vestas. He claims that the company pioneered the wind industry, bringing the first commercial wind turbines that are seen on the market today.

The company Vestas has been operating in the market for 40 years, covering more than 80 countries. For the congress, the company Vestas brought the continuity of a project, implemented in Brazil since 2018, the launch of the 4 MW platform with the purpose of bringing new renewable energy solutions to customers. “So, today we already have more than 8 Gigas sold of this turbine. For you to have an idea, today, Brazil has installed 23 Gigas in more than 20 years, so you can imagine how much this turbine, in recent years, has performed”, explained the exhibitor.
