In An Interview With The CPG Portal, Vestas Says It Plans To Make First-Class Turbines Available To Customers For The Brazilian Market
The largest event in the wind sector Brazil Windpower featured Jonathan Colombo, responsible for Sustainability, Marketing, and Communication at Vestas. He states that the company was a pioneer in the wind sector, bringing the first commercial wind turbines that are seen today in the market.

Vestas has been active in the market for 40 years, covering more than 80 countries. For the congress, Vestas brought the continuation of a project implemented in Brazil since 2018, the launch of the 4 MW platform aimed at bringing new renewable energy solutions to customers. “So, today we have already sold more than 8 Gigawatts of this turbine. To give you an idea, Brazil has installed 23 Gigawatts in over 20 years, so you can imagine how well this turbine has performed in recent years,” explained the speaker.
