Triangular Wheel Bicycle Uses Articulated Suspension and Surprises with Its Smooth Functioning — Even on Uneven Terrain
The channel “The Q” surprised its followers with an unusual invention. After creating a bicycle with square wheels, the engineers of the channel went further: they presented a new version with triangular wheels. The video shows that this time, the wheels actually spin.
On the bicycle with square wheels, movement was ensured by small wheels fixed at the base of the tires.
Thus, the wheels slid, but did not actually spin. Now, the situation has changed. The triangles used are slightly curved, which allows for the complete rotation of the wheel. The result is a smoother pedal, even with the unusual shape.

The Suspension Was the Secret
To make the project functional, the creators developed a special system. Articulated arms were used that allow the center of the wheel to move up and down.
This softens the impact of contact between the ground and the vertices of the triangle. Thus, the cyclist does not feel jolts or bumps with each pedal stroke.
“Triangular wheels can be comfortable!” wrote the engineers in the video description. According to them, with this type of suspension, almost any wheel shape can seem round.
The design is ingenious and, even though the movement is slower than that of normal wheels, its functioning is surprising.
There is a slight speed gain with each side transition of the triangle, but this does not affect the pedaling abruptly.
Superior Performance on Certain Terrain
One of the points highlighted in the video is the utility of the triangular wheel bicycle on uneven terrain.
The square wheels worked well only on smooth surfaces. The new model, however, seems to handle obstacles and unevenness better. This could make the invention even more useful in future tests.
The video has garnered thousands of views and keeps the channel “The Q” as a reference for curious and out-of-the-ordinary creations on YouTube.

Like Inventions Like This? Then You’ll Want to See This Engine Mounted with 16 Chainsaws That Works
The creators of the Russian channel Garage 54 became known for transforming ordinary cars into eccentric experiences. They took another step in this direction. The team created a V16 engine using no less than 16 gasoline chainsaws, mounted on a Lada. The idea was presented in a video on YouTube, and caught attention for its originality and boldness.
The channel is already famous for testing limits. On other occasions, they put tank wheels on a Lada. They also built a car that moves with metal legs.
This time, innovation came with the attempt to make a car run using only chainsaw engines. The result? A unique and noisy project that works — even if inefficiently.
Engine Created with Chainsaws
The V16 engine was made with 16 chainsaws of the BS-62 model, from the brand Hüter Technik. Each one has a two-stroke engine with 58 cm³.
All non-essential parts were removed, leaving only the gasoline engines. These blocks were mounted on a special chassis and aligned in a V shape. This created an engine approximately 1.31 meters long.
Unlike traditional engines with a crankshaft, like those used in older Cadillac models or the new Bugatti Tourbillon, the chainsaw engines use toothed belts connected to a central metal shaft.
This shaft rotates through three bearings — two at the ends and one in the middle. According to the project’s creators, the set generates about 72 horsepower, as each chainsaw produces 4.5 horsepower.
Fuel and Control System
To fuel the engines, the team used a transparent hose that carries the gasoline and oil mixture to the 16 engines.
The fuel is divided with T-shaped connectors. The rotation of the engines is synchronized via cables, which are connected to a single throttle control.
This improvised engine was then coupled to a conventional manual gearbox, with four gears. With this setup, the V16 chainsaw engine was installed inside a Lada.
Road Test
During the tests, the vehicle was able to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 26 seconds. It’s not exactly sports performance, but the main objective wasn’t speed.
The intention of the Garage 54 channel was to show that it is possible to use different technical solutions to move a car. And once again, they succeeded.
The creation surprised the channel’s followers and showcased the creativity of the Russians when it comes to automotive modification. More details of the project are available on the Garage 54 channel on YouTube.
