The Receivable Values System (SVR) Has Already Returned Over R$ 11 Billion, But R$ 10.70 Billion Still Awaits Withdrawal by Individuals and Companies.
The Central Bank (BC) reported that millions of Brazilians have not yet withdrawn forgotten amounts in the financial system. According to data from July, 48,052,877 individuals have money to receive. The Receivable Values System (SVR) is the official and free tool to consult and redeem these resources.
What Is the Receivable Values System (SVR) of the Central Bank?
The SVR is an official service of the Central Bank. In it, any citizen or company can check if there is forgotten money in their name. The search covers banks, consortia, finance companies, and brokerages. The service is completely free.
The resources that can be recovered through the SVR are varied, including:
-
The largest food company on the planet, JBS, has just opened a 4,000 square meter laboratory in Florianópolis to develop customized proteins that modulate muscle mass gain, immune response, and metabolic performance.
-
After nearly 30 bids and competition among industry giants, a Spanish company purchases one of the largest airports in Brazil for almost R$ 3 billion and takes over the management of Galeão in a concession that will last until 2039.
-
The Federal Revenue Service now automatically cross-references everything you declare with data from banks, credit cards, brokerage firms, and insurance companies, and any discrepancy between your income and your expenses triggers an alert in seconds.
-
Amid global tensions, Brazil blocks the United States’ proposal at the WTO and paves the way for a trade crisis and possible retaliations.
Balances in closed checking or savings accounts;
Capital shares of former participants in credit unions;
Funds from closed consortium groups;
Fees or credit installments charged incorrectly;
Amounts in closed payment accounts;
Other resources available for return.
Billions Available: The Numbers of Forgotten Money
In July of this year, Brazilians withdrew R$ 310.36 million. Since the program began, the SVR has already returned a total of R$ 11.34 billion. Despite this, there are still R$ 10.70 billion available for withdrawal.
Currently, 52,654,085 beneficiaries have yet to redeem their funds. The majority (48,052,877) are individuals. Most people are entitled to smaller amounts:
- Up to R$ 10: 64.49% of beneficiaries.
- Between R$ 10.01 and R$ 100: 23.89% of beneficiaries.
- Above R$ 1,000: Only 1.8% of beneficiaries.
Step by Step: How to Consult and Redeem Your Funds
The process is simple and divided into two stages. First, the consultation, which does not require a login. Just provide the CPF and date of birth (for individuals) or the CNPJ and date of incorporation (for companies).
If there are amounts to receive, the redemption requires a login to the Gov.br account , silver or gold level. The funds can be redeemed in two ways: by contacting the institution directly or by making the request through the SVR itself.
New Feature: Automatic Redemption via PIX CPF Key
In May, the Central Bank launched a new feature. It is the automatic redemption request. With it, the citizen no longer needs to consult the system periodically.
Enrollment in the service is optional and exclusive to individuals. To use it, you must have a PIX key of the CPF type. Thus, if any institution releases a new resource in their name, the credit will be made directly to the account.
Important Alert: Beware of Scams, Warns the Central Bank
The Central Bank issues an important alert about scams. Scammers may try to pose as intermediaries. Remember that all SVR services are free.
The BC does not send links and does not contact to verify personal data. Only the financial institution where the funds are can contact the citizen. Never provide your passwords to anyone.
