The Superbuses With A Capacity Of 110 Passengers From Volkswagen Trucks And Buses Will Be Present At The BRT In Rio De Janeiro.
The superbuses from the largest vehicle manufacturer in the world, Volkswagen, have arrived on the market to meet the needs of big cities. The German automaker won the bidding for the BRT in Rio de Janeiro, and Volkswagen Trucks and Buses will deliver 35 units by the end of the year to transport the population of the capital of Rio de Janeiro.

Scientists use sawdust mixed with clay to create a lighter brick, promising efficient thermal insulation and impressing by transforming waste into a solution for construction.
The key to success for this giant of passenger transport is the positioning of the third axle at the front. This allows the chassis to achieve a payload capacity of 22 tons while also enabling greater flexibility in configurations according to operational needs.
Volksbus 22.280 ODS Will Soon Be Operating In The States Of SP, AM, And MS
The vehicle from the German automaker is the result of a thorough analysis by VWCO regarding market demands. The model aims to meet the increase of about 30% in transport capacity compared to traditional urban buses, reducing operational costs when compared to larger vehicles, such as articulated buses.
This reduction is due to the fact that the vehicle consumes less fuel and has lower acquisition and operational costs.
According to Volkswagen Trucks and Buses, the model will soon be seen on the streets of three other cities: Campinas/SP, through Itajaí Transportes; Dourados/MS, through Viação Dourados; and Manaus/AM, through Eucatur – in this case, the deal was finalized after the support from the automaker for three months to conduct tests.
Ford Launches Smart Headlights That Project Traffic Signs, Speed Limits, And Traffic Ahead Directly Onto The Road, And Also Measure Parking Spaces
The automotive giant Ford Motors, which closed its factories and ceased vehicle production in Brazil, is looking to take the concept of Head-up display systems to the next level with headlights that project images onto the road. For those who don’t know, Head-up display systems project graphics onto the windshield and are becoming increasingly common in modern cars.
The new High Resolution Smart Headlights Highlights, which is currently being tested by the engineers at the American automaker, can project traffic signs, navigation directions, or even weather information onto the road ahead. Watch the video below to check out the new technology being developed by Ford’s engineers!
