T-Cross 2026 Arrives in the Brazilian Market with New Version Organization, Updated Prices, and Focus on Performance, Technology, and Modular Trunk, While Maintaining Leadership Among Compact SUVs in the Country.

Volkswagen has structured the T-Cross 2026 lineup in Brazil with five versions, all equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission and turbo flex engines.

The range keeps the compact SUV at the entry level price of R$ 119,990 in the Sense 200 TSI configuration, primarily aimed at direct sales, and retains the 1.0 turbo engine with 128 hp as the base offer, while the 1.4 turbo remains restricted to the more expensive options.

At the same time, the model continues to lead among zero-kilometer SUVs in 2025, with just over 73,000 units registered by October, according to data from industry entities.

Versions and Prices of T-Cross 2026

In the table valid for the 2026 lineup, the Sense 200 TSI remains the entry-level option.

It keeps the price of R$ 119,990 and caters mainly to PcD and fleet buyers, with a simplified equipment package, but already with a focus on safety and connectivity.

Just above it is the version simply called 200 TSI, currently priced at R$ 157,490 after recent adjustments across the entire lineup.

It becomes the access option for retail customers, adding driving assistance and finishing items compared to the Sense.

The intermediate range is filled by the Comfortline 200 TSI, offered at R$ 177,490.

This configuration is the most expensive among those equipped with the 1.0 turbo engine, focusing on comfort and convenience features that are usually more valued by families, such as digital air conditioning, more connectivity features, and larger wheels.

In the top versions, the T-Cross features the 1.4 turbo engine.

The Highline 250 TSI is priced at R$ 191,490, while the Extreme 250 TSI reaches R$ 198,490.

When equipped with an optional package that includes a panoramic sunroof and additional driving assistance, the Extreme exceeds the R$ 210,000 barrier, approaching models from higher segments.

Engines 200 TSI and 250 TSI

The mechanical parts do not bring structural changes compared to the previous model.

Sense, 200 TSI, and Comfortline utilize the well-known 200 TSI engine, a three-cylinder 1.0 turbo flex with direct injection, delivering 128 hp on ethanol and 116 hp on gasoline, always with 20.4 kgfm of torque regardless of the fuel.

The Highline 250 TSI and Extreme 250 TSI versions use the 250 TSI engine, a four-cylinder 1.4 turbo flex, also with direct injection.

In this setup, power increases to 150 hp, accompanied by 25.5 kgfm of torque, which ensures faster responses and greater agility in acceleration and overtaking.

Throughout the range, the traction is front-wheel drive, and the transmission is always a six-speed automatic.

Equipment of the Sense 200 TSI Version

Even as the entry-level option, the Sense 200 TSI offers a safety package compatible with the current standard of the segment.

Standard equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability and traction control, hill start assist, and post-collision monitoring system.

In terms of lighting, the version already features LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights, enhancing visibility and the model’s visual signature.

The instrument panel is digital, with an 8-inch screen, and the VW Play multimedia center uses a 10.1-inch screen, with wireless connectivity for smartphones in more equipped configurations.

The package is completed with air conditioning, electric steering, electric windows and locks, and 16-inch wheels with hubcaps, as well as rear parking sensors and a start-stop system.

200 TSI and Comfortline Versions

In the 200 TSI configuration, the T-Cross starts to offer driving assistance features that have gained traction among compact SUVs.

Among them are adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking, which work together to mitigate collisions or reduce their severity.

The version also includes 16-inch alloy wheels, black roof rails, and a multifunction steering wheel, keeping the VW Play center as the connectivity hub on board.

In some packages, it is possible to add a rearview camera, front parking sensors, and electrically folding mirrors.

The Comfortline 200 TSI strengthens the focus on comfort.

It features digital air conditioning, wireless phone charger, 17-inch alloy wheels, push-button start, and Isofix mounting system for child seats.

Keyless entry, front and rear parking sensors, and more functions embedded in the multimedia system reinforce the version’s positioning as an intermediate option aimed at family use.

Highline and Extreme 250 TSI

Among the versions with the 1.4 turbo engine, the Highline 250 TSI combines performance with a more complete equipment package.

The model offers a digital instrument panel with a larger screen, a 10.1-inch VW Play central system, 17-inch wheels, automatic digital air conditioning, induction charger, and rearview camera.

Optional packages add more driving assistance features.

The Extreme 250 TSI takes the role of the top-of-the-line version, with a exclusive design.

It differs with darkened external elements, orange details on the bumpers and side emblems, and 17-inch wheels with a specific design.

At the front, a LED light strip connects the headlights and composes the updated lighting signature of Volkswagen for its SUVs.

The rear adopts fully LED taillights connected by an illuminated bar.

Inside, the brand emphasizes the combination of a fully digital dashboard, connected multimedia, and specific stitching finishes.

Modular Trunk and Family Use

One of the most highlighted technical points in the T-Cross 2026 is the modular trunk.

According to official data from Volkswagen, the capacity varies from 373 to 420 liters in VDA measurement, depending on the adjustment of the sliding rear seat.

Considering the maximum theoretical volume, the compartment can reach 414 to 469 liters, depending on the internal configuration.

This solution allows the driver to choose between more luggage space or greater legroom for rear passengers.

In practice, the feature reinforces the positioning of the T-Cross as an SUV aimed at family use.

Adjustments and Competition Among Compact SUVs

The arrival of the 2026 lineup occurs in a context of frequent adjustments among compact SUVs sold in Brazil.

Throughout the second half of 2025, mid-range and top versions of the T-Cross recorded increases of approximately R$ 1,000 to R$ 5,000, while the Sense maintained the price of R$ 119,990.

Even with the new price levels, the model remains within the price range practiced by the main competitors in the segment.

Occasional discounts and specific conditions may alter final values at dealerships, but the factory reference remains close to that of direct rivals.

T-Cross Sales and Fleet Participation

The registration numbers help explain Volkswagen’s attention to the 2026 lineup.

From January to October 2025, the T-Cross has accumulated around 73,100 units, maintaining its status as the most sold zero-kilometer SUV in the country.

A substantial part of this performance is linked to strong participation in direct sales, especially for rental companies and businesses.

Still, the utility vehicle retains a relevant presence in traditional retail, driven by the constant offering of versions and the equipment package.
