This Year, More than 150 Lectures Are Expected to Take Place Over Three Days, All Focused on Logistics, Sustainability, and More. Over 95% of Visitors Last Year Indicated They Are Interested in Returning This Year.
The event Waste Expo Brasil 2022 starts this Tuesday, November 8, and is expected to run until November 10, featuring lectures on logistics management, environment, sustainability, and recycling. This is one of the largest fairs in the sector throughout Latin America. According to sources, it will have more than 150 projects on display. The event will take place at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo (SP), in the Yellow Pavilion.
One of the organizations participating in the event is Prolata, a non-profit. The private institution will present two projects. The first project will be mediated by Ana Paula Bernardes, who will discuss Law 14.260/2021 and focuses on recycling actions / recycling funds that can significantly contribute to reverse logistics systems. The presentations are scheduled to take place from 3:15 PM to 6 PM.
The second project presented by Prolata will offer a view of structuring systems regarding credits for companies. Fernando Bernardes will be responsible for presenting the project with the assistance of the Prolata Program, Dione Manetti from the Recupera Program, Fernando Rodrigues from the Rever Institute, Marcella Bueno from Eu Reciclo, and Francisco Pacca from Rec+.

About 95% of all participants who took part in the event in 2021 stated they would vote in 2022 for closing business deals or attending the lectures. Furthermore, about 93% of them indicated that the activities and presentations exceeded expectations, going far beyond what was anticipated compared to previous years.
Lastly, it is worth noting that over 83% of respondents regarding customer satisfaction indicated that this is one of the main events in the recycling and waste management sector, as well as reverse logistics.
