Job opening for Electrical and Automation Technician in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro
- Requirements: Completed High School; Technical Course in Electrical/Automation; Experience in the described activities; Availability for travel and to work in person in Niterói.
- Main Responsibilities: Execute technical services on the fleet’s vessels, following safety instructions/procedures according to pre-scheduled programming; Reduce the out-of-service times of vessels related to electrical/automated systems through preventive/corrective/predictive maintenance; Perform maintenance on electrical and automated systems such as: Electrical commands and power systems, electric motors, instrumentation, position reference systems, energy generation management systems, frequency inverters, soft starters, and automated control and supervision systems; Support the Electrical Technician I during joint service calls; Contribute to monitoring service providers in the electrical area during service calls; Contribute to improvement projects for electrical and automated systems, through innovative ideas and research for the best solution.

Job opening for Diesel Engine Technician Jr. in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro
- Requirement: Completed High School, plus a Technical Course in Mechanics, Electricity, or Automation; Availability for travel.
- Main Responsibilities: Assess engine performance through data collection via the engine’s electronic system (ET); Consult the materials list through Caterpillar’s SIS-WEB system; Adjust valves and injector units of all engines in the fleet; Assist and help with periodic maintenance of diesel engines (1st and 2nd Top End’s and Complete Overhaul); Replace diesel engine pumps (Water, Oil); Prepare and organize the necessary materials for maintenance; Execute the pending items identified in predictive analyses; Perform and assist with corrective maintenance and/or preventive revisions of diesel engines (250h, 4000h, 6000h, and 8000h); Read and interpret mechanical drawings for details and assemblies for proper assembly and analysis of component and equipment failures; Request coded materials and organize them in the appropriate location; Maintain order, organization, and cleanliness in both your workstation and the areas and workplaces you intervene, whether in the Workshop or on the Vessels.
