Keeping up with this trend and with several projects in RJ, Wood started a large selection process this Tuesday (24) for many positions. Positions in Macaé with Application via Email
- Project Coordinator (Construction) – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, experience in controlling and managing construction and assembly projects for the Oil and Gas segment. Desired experience in people management
- Project Coordinator (Engineering) – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, experience in managing Basic Engineering and FEED projects. Desired experience in people management. Fixed-term position (6 months)
- Quality Control Inspector – Desired complete Technical Degree in Mechanics, Electrical, Electrotechnics or similar, preferably with active CREA. Desired qualification of Rope Access Course N3 and 2 years of experience in the role, preferably in the Oil and Gas segment. Permanent contract position.
- Electrical Inspector – Desired complete Technical Degree in Electrical or similar courses, with active CREA registration. NR10 and knowledge of ABNT, ASME and other relevant offshore industry standards. Electrical / Instrumentation Qualification – SEQUI/PB. Desirable 4 years of experience in the role, preferably in the Oil and Gas segment. Fixed-term position of 3 months.
- Electrical Supervisor – Technician in Electrical, Electrotechnics or Basic Electrical Training Course with team leadership experience in electrical work, desired CBSP, HUET and NR10 certification. Desired 10 years in the electrical area with at least 3 years of proven leadership (supervisor or electrical technician), preferably in the Oil and Gas segment. Fixed-term position of 3 months.
- Painting Inspector – Desired complete Technical Degree in Mechanics or similar, preferably with active CREA. Desired qualification of Rope Access Course N3. 4 years of experience in the role, preferably in the Oil and Gas segment. Ensure excellence in painting services, verifying painter qualifications and painting processes, following internal procedures, in compliance with the relevant standards and technical specifications, and aligned with client demands. Fixed-term contract position (3 months).

FPSO Inspector – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 10 years in FPSO production operation. Must demonstrate experience with safety in projects. Specialization in Project Management activities, including with clients and subcontractors. Good knowledge of Brazilian legislation (ANP, Ibama)

Riser Engineer – Bachelor’s degree in Naval, Mechanical or Civil Engineering. At least 6 months of experience with global analysis for conceptual or detailed design or riser drilling analysis or others. Advanced communication skills in English, written and spoken. Proven knowledge in Phyton programming, C++, VBA will also be an advantage. Experience with Orcaflex, Flexcom or DeepRiser software or similar will be highly valued, but not mandatory. Apply Here.
Senior Subsea Structural Engineer – Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical, Structural) is required. Minimum 10 years of experience in Engineering and Structural Design
Knowledge of key standards and rules, such as AISC, API and DNV for structural projects is required. Knowledge in SACS, ABAQUS, MathCad and MS Office. Subsea Onshore Pipeline Engineer – Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Civil / Structural Engineering, ideally with relevant subsea/onshore experience and 4-5 years in subsea engineering design and/or onshore. Knowledge of codes/standards related to pipeline engineering, DNVGL, API codes for subsea engineering. ABNT and ASME codes for land pipeline engineering. Knowledge and understanding of subsea piping software (e.g., Orcaflex, Abaqus) and/or land piping calculation. Demonstrated experience with FEED and detailed engineering.
