XP Investimentos offers 60 job vacancies for professionals from different areas of training, aiming to transform them into investment advisors
Named XP Future, XP's new recruitment program aims to recruit professionals from various areas, to transform them into investment advisors. In addition, those approved in the selection will win an entry “prize” of up to R$ 20, as a form of help for those who change careers or who need the capital.

Hiring individuals from different academic areas, not necessarily related to the financial market, has always been recurrent in the history of XP Investimentos. Over the years, the advisors who formed the team were, for example, chemists, dentists and lawyers, as well as economists and administrators.
What XP now does is structure and formalize recruitment for new job vacancies, with this premise. Entitled XPFuture, the program will have 60 professionals from different areas to act as investment advisors, linked to XP.
Renan Vilaça, a professional in the B2C customer service area, who joined XP from the foreign trade area, explains the project for new jobs: “The proposal is to structure everything that was already done informally. At XP, what counts is the talent and disposition of the professional, regardless of area or age”, says Renan.
He also points out that to fill the vacancies it is not necessary to have prior knowledge in investments, and they can be professionals from any area. “There are two specific groups, young people who are finishing college and more experienced professionals looking for a career change. All will graduate from XP with a market immersion and two months of intense training.”
Profile sought by XP Investimentos for job openings
The selection process to get a job in the program XP Future it was designed to identify candidates with a profile of skills to relate to groups and curiosity about the world of investments and the financial market in general. Vacancies are distributed among six cities: Manaus (AM), Rio de Janeiro (capital), Niterói (RJ), Uberlândia (MG), Sorocaba (SP) and São José dos Campos, also in São Paulo.
The program designed to train professionals, in addition to technical topics, will feature, for the first time, modules to teach how to prospect accounts in their social cycle and set up a work routine.
In addition, those approved in the selection will win an entry “prize” of up to R$ 20. According to Vilaça, the resource is a kind of help for those who are going to change careers and may need capital, and it is also so that the humblest can invest in what is necessary to get a job. The representative also stated that all advisors selected in XP Future will be hired by XP Investimentos, in accordance with the CLT, and will receive half-yearly bonuses.
How to participate in the selection process for XP job vacancies
The selection process starts on 24/11 and registrations can be made at project website. In the first phase, applicants will pass two tests, one cultural and the other on sales archetypes, both with a weight of 50%, but they are not elimination stages.
In addition, candidates will need to send two videos, one introducing themselves and the other answering “how he could convince someone to invest their life money with him, who has just started in the financial market”, explained Renan Vilaça.
Those who advance to the second phase will have a face-to-face stage, in which they will participate in interviews and resolve cases.
