Registration for free courses in various areas begins on Monday at the Center for Technological and Professional Education (Cetep), all didactic material will be provided at no cost to students
Pre-registration for 3 free courses offered by the Municipality of Macaé, through the Center for Technological and Professional Education (Cetep), of the Adjunct Secretariat for Professional Qualification and Secondary Education, begins on Monday (June 27). Interested parties should register on the Macaé City Hall website (www.macae.rj.gov.br). In all, 1.420 vacancies are being offered. Interested parties must be at least 16 years old. Pre-registration will close as the number of vacancies is filled. Each course has a specific schedule. Classes will start from June 12th.
The novelty of the second stage of courses are the Travel Agency Assistant courses and those that will take place at a distance for Port Logistics Operations assistant, Ead Tutoring in Moodle Environment and Blended Digital Marketing. The online courses will be given by the Núcleo de Tecnologia Municipal Educacional (NTM) and were opened due to the success of the distance administrative assistant course, which will also be given in this edition. Interested parties may enroll in a single course. During pre-enrollment, the candidate will receive the scheduling protocol with date and time to enroll. Enrollment will take place on the 4th and 5th of June. Candidates must appear at Rua Alfredo Backer, 363 – Centro, from 8 am to 18 pm.
Registration
For enrollment, candidates must present the following documents: photocopy of identity document with 3×4 photo and copies of CPF, identity card, in addition to proof of residence and schooling (school transcript), enrollment statement for those who still are studying or from the grade taken. Candidates who have already taken courses at Cetep in 2017 and 2018 will be provided with the delivery of the documents necessary for registration, except for a copy of their ID and two 3×4 photos. Applicants under the age of 18 must register with a legal guardian. Anyone who is unable to attend the headquarters of the Adjunct Secretariat for Professional Qualification may apply through a private power of attorney.
Remaining slots
Those who do not show up on the registration date and in the first week of class will lose their reservation for the course. In the face of absence without formal justification, the remaining vacancies will be made available on the 6th and 7th of June, and registration will be carried out in the order of arrival of the candidates.
Public notice 002/2019 is available on the City Hall website, within the Education Department link, and has all the rules for enrolling in courses. The courses are divided by the following technological axes: cultural production and design; environment and health (beauty); environment and health; management and business; hospitality and leisure and information and communication. All courses are of short duration. Performance dates and times are available in the public notice. Each course will be held in specific locations such as Cetep-Centro, Cetep-Barra and Cidade Universitária, in addition to the Culture Center of Serra, in Glicério.
Selection
For the courses of the technological axis Environment and Health, Clinical Analysis Laboratory Assistant, Oral Health Assistant and Elderly Caregiver, the candidate must undergo a mandatory internship.
Courses
In the Environment and Health axis with a focus on Beauty, the subjects that will be addressed are: Make-up Artist, Assistant Hairdresser, Manicure and Pedicure, Eyebrow Design and Barber. The Environment and Health course offers courses for Clinical Analysis Laboratory Assistant, Oral Health Assistant and Elderly Caregiver. The “Cultural Production and Design” course includes courses in Basic Interior Design Techniques, Sewing for Beginners, Arts in Fabric and Handmade Thread, Treats and Souvenirs in Biscuit and Canvas Painting for Beginners.
In Hospitality and Leisure, those interested can enroll in Handmade Food Production (jams, sweets and biscuits), Basic Baking and Confectionery Basics, Travel Agency Assistant, Training of Referees and Basic Notions for Reception Service. The “Information and Communication” axis integrates the Basic Informatics and Ead Tutorial courses in Moodle Environment.
The Ead Administrative Assistant, Port Logistics Operations Assistant, Digital Marketing, Project Management, Administration Assistant and Human Resources Basics courses are part of the “Management and Business” axis.
The didactic material referring to the theoretical contents of the courses will be provided free of charge by Cetep. The consumables and permanent materials needed for the individual practices of some courses must be purchased by the students, as instructed by the professors on the first day of class.
