181,898 Job Vacancies for Primary Level and 22,409 Vacancies for Candidates at Middle Level Open for the IBGE Competition Across Brazil

The tests will be conducted in all municipalities where job vacancies are available. The candidate may take the test in a municipality different from the one they choose to work in.
The preliminary scores will be released the day after the tests, starting at 7 PM, on the Cebraspe website. The final results of the approved candidates will be announced on May 27.

The expected hiring date is May 31 for census agents, and in July for enumerators. Fieldwork for the 2021 Census begins in August.
From August to October, around 213 million inhabitants, in approximately 71 million addresses, will be visited by enumerators in the 5,570 municipalities of the country.

There Will Be 181,898 Temporary Job Vacancies for the Position of Enumerator
Remuneration will be based on production, that is, according to the number of households visited and questionnaires answered. The enumerator will also be entitled to a 13th salary and proportional vacations based on days worked and production. For the position of enumerator, complete primary education is required.
The enumerator has no fixed schedule. It is expected that they dedicate at least 25 hours per week, including holidays and weekends. The expected duration of the contract is up to 3 months.
The Human Resources Coordinator of IBGE, Bruno Malheiros, explained that the enumerator’s remuneration is variable and there is no minimum or maximum amount they can receive. “The more interviews they conduct, the more collections they make, the more they receive,” he explains.
Municipal Census Agent
For the position of Municipal Census Agent, complete secondary education is required and 5,450 temporary job vacancies will be available with a salary of R$ 2,100. The duration of the contracts is 5 months, which may be extended.
The workweek is 40 hours, with 8 hours daily. In addition to the salary, census agents will be entitled to food assistance, transportation assistance, pre-school assistance, vacations, and proportional 13th salary.
The municipal census agent manages the collection station and, throughout the 2021 Demographic Census, will lead two types of actions: Administrative, performing control and management of human and material resources at the Collection Station, and Technical-Operational, managing a team of Supervising Census Agents and enumerators, monitoring and guiding Data Collection.
Supervising Census Agent
There are 16,959 temporary job vacancies for the position of Supervising Census Agent with a salary of R$ 1,700. The supervising census agent performs supervisory tasks for the census operation, focusing on technical, administrative, and information technology issues. They report to the municipal census agent. Their main role is to accompany, evaluate, and, above all, guide enumerators during the execution of fieldwork.
