Overview of Renault Used Models Combines Efficient Fuel Consumption, Predictable Costs, and Above-Average Equipment in Different Segments, from Urban Compact to SUV, with Prices Verified in the Brazilian Market and Focus on Daily Use, Maintenance, and Availability of Comfort and Safety Items.

Renault maintains a relevant presence in the Brazilian market by offering vehicles with known mechanics, wide availability of parts, and maintenance costs considered predictable by industry experts.

In the used car segment with up to three years of usage, the brand frequently appears in ads that feature prices below the market average, efficient fuel consumption, and comfort and safety features that are not always available in models at the same price range.

Among consumers looking for a recent used car, three factors usually weigh in the purchase decision: predictability of expenses, energy efficiency, and level of equipment suitable for daily use.

For this survey, ads published on Mercado Livre were analyzed, with prices verified during the research conducted in November 2025.

The models are organized from lowest to highest announced price.

Renault Kwid and Efficient Urban Fuel Consumption

The Renault Kwid frequently appears among the most recent entry-level models in the used car market.

The project prioritizes compact dimensions, a higher driving position, and solutions aimed at urban use, characteristics that explain its presence in large cities and rental fleets.

Equipped with a 1.0 SCe engine, the model adopts a calibration focused on energy efficiency.

According to data from the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program, the Kwid records urban fuel consumption of up to 14.6 km/l with gasoline, a number that helps reduce daily expenses, especially on short and congested routes.

During the research, ads were identified starting from R$ 39.9 thousand.

In more complete versions, the model may include multimedia system with touchscreen and rearview camera, items that have become more common in compact vehicles in recent years.

According to information released by the manufacturer itself, the Kwid has also started offering electronic stability control in part of the lineup, a feature that became mandatory by law only years after the model was launched.

Renault Sandero and Above-Average Internal Space

In the compact hatchback market, the Sandero is often cited by experts as a model with internal dimensions above the average for the segment.

Passenger space and the trunk are highlighted as relevant factors for those needing versatility without moving to higher categories.

The versions equipped with a 1.0 SCe engine follow the same logic of mechanical efficiency adopted in other models of the brand.

According to data from Inmetro, highway consumption can exceed 14 km/l with gasoline, while urban efficiency tends to be lower, a common behavior in vehicles of this category.

During the ad verification, examples of the Sandero S Edition appeared starting from R$ 49.9 thousand.

This version is typically identified by its finishing elements and the presence of a multimedia system, although the list of features may vary depending on the model year.

The suspension, frequently mentioned in technical evaluations, is described as suitable for handling uneven surfaces, a relevant characteristic in the context of Brazilian roads.

Renault Logan and 510-Liter Trunk

Among the compact sedans available as used cars, the Renault Logan retains appeal among consumers who prioritize internal space and load capacity.

The 510-liter trunk remains one of the largest in its category, contributing to its use in family and professional activities.

The 1.0 SCe engine, paired with a manual transmission, offers performance compatible with the model’s proposal.

Data from the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program indicates fuel consumption above 14 km/l on the highway with gasoline, while urban figures fall below this level, in line with other compact sedans.

In the analyzed ads, Logan Zen versions appeared starting from R$ 50.9 thousand.

In these configurations, it’s common to find air conditioning and a multimedia system, as well as safety features that have started to be included in the package of newer models.

However, the effective availability of features depends on the year of manufacture and the package chosen by the first owner.

Renault Duster, SUV Size and Known Mechanics

The Duster represents the largest option among the analyzed models.

Classified as a compact SUV, it is frequently associated with a proposal aimed at mixed use, combining urban travel with journeys on highways and rough roads.

The version equipped with a 1.6 engine prioritizes known mechanics in the market, which, according to experts, tends to facilitate maintenance outside of larger urban centers.

On the other hand, the fuel consumption figures reflect the weight and aerodynamics of the vehicle.

According to data from Inmetro, the 1.6 Duster records 11.5 km/l in the city and 12.4 km/l on the highway with gasoline, below the figures observed in the compact models on the list.

During the research, ads for the Duster Zen were found starting from R$ 67.9 thousand.

Depending on the year, units may feature multimedia systems and rearview cameras, although these items are not included in all configurations.

The 475-liter trunk and elevated driving position are characteristics that help explain the demand for the model in the recent used car market.

Considering differences in fuel consumption, space, and acquisition cost, which of these profiles is likely to better meet the needs of those looking for a used car for everyday use?
