The French multinational inspection and certification company Bureau Veritas plans to open more than 12 thousand job positions this year to meet its offices around the world. Brazil will account for the largest volume of hiring in Latin America: there will be 400 new openings. The recruitment multinational Atlas Professionals ends the week with job openings

In Brazil, job positions will be distributed across various regions and sectors, according to the company’s clients. Opportunities will mainly be for graduates in engineering, inspectors, auditors, laboratory technicians, and business professionals.

“We always say that we do not have products, but people. The workforce is our flagship, and having good people is essential. We will have openings all over Brazil, where our clients are,” comments Elisete Rizzo, Human Resources Director of Bureau Veritas.

For the director, it is essential that job candidates align with the company culture, particularly with the values of humility, ambition, openness, and inclusion. Given the geographical diversity of clients and the responsibility of auditing work, these are the most sought-after characteristics among professionals.

Reflecting the value of inclusion, the company has made efforts to increase female leadership, breaking gender stereotypes in predominantly male areas. In 2019, they reached the goal of 30% women in leadership positions.

“We want to make a difference, so we understood that we needed to reflect society better, starting with the highest positions. We hired our CFO and the Compliance Director. She works in a different home office model to take care of her daughter,” says the director.
