According to the National Agency of Petroleum (ANP), Brazil extracted 3.156 million bopd in January of this year, while the UAE produced 3.034 million bopd, according to information from OPEC.

Brazil’s oil production also exceeded that of the Arab country in December of last year, when the UAE extracted 3.063 million bopd compared to 3.095 million Brazilian.
As the third-largest producer of OPEC, the UAE is ahead of Brazil in the global ranking of the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), updated in February of this year.
The Arab country ranks eighth, with 3.79 million bopd, followed by Brazil (3.43 million bopd) and Kuwait (2.91 million bopd). The calculation considers crude oil, all petroleum liquids, and biofuels.
