1. New Duster (Renault/Dacia)
Dacia, the Romanian subsidiary of Renault, is preparing a revolution in the market with the new generation of the Duster. This SUV will be built on Renault-Nissan’s CMF-B modular platform, featuring a modern design with an interconnected front grille to the “Y”-shaped headlights, full LED lighting, and wheels up to 18 inches. The big news is the hybrid version, which combines a 1.6 gasoline engine with two electric motors, offering 140 horsepower and an average consumption of 24.5 km/l. The interior has been redesigned with high-quality materials, providing good interior space. With a history of success in Europe, the new Duster is set to land in Brazil in 2025, promising to attract many eyes.
2. New WR-V (Honda)
Honda has confirmed the arrival of the new generation of the WR-V in the Brazilian market, a compact SUV that is now bigger and more competitive. With updated design, the grille features chrome details, full LED headlights, and wheels up to 17 inches. Under the hood, the WR-V comes equipped with a 1.5 naturally aspirated engine producing 126 horsepower, paired with a CVT automatic transmission. 4. New Compact SUV from Chevrolet
Chevrolet is developing a new compact SUV, smaller than the Tracker, to compete with rivals like Fiat Pulse and Renault Kwid. Possibly a version of the Chevrolet Groove, the new model will be produced at the factory in São José dos Pinhais, Rio Grande do Sul. The design includes a chrome grille, split optical set with LED lights, and 16-inch wheels. With arrival expected in 2024, this SUV promises to be an attractive and affordable option in the segment.
5. Mitsubishi Xforce
Mitsubishi, known for its robust SUVs, is launching the Xforce, a compact model developed in partnership with Renault and Nissan.
