The State of Rio de Janeiro has announced 5.458 job opportunities, including internships, apprenticeship programs, and temporary and permanent positions for all levels of education. The positions are distributed among the City of Rio, the Mudes Foundation, and the Center for Business-School Integration (CIEE), with emphasis on areas such as sales, administration and engineering.

Vacancies available at the City of Rio de Janeiro

The Rio de Janeiro City Hall leads the way in terms of job opportunities, with 2.280 vacancies, especially for temporary hires due to the high demand at the end of the year. The most notable positions include stock assistant, cashier, salesperson and sales assistant. All of these positions require at least a high school diploma and six months of proven experience.

Those interested in applying can go in person to one of the seven service stations, bringing documents such as ID, CPF, PIS and an updated resume. The stations are open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 16 pm, and are located in neighborhoods such as Campo Grande, Engenho Novo, Ilha do Governador, Jacarepaguá, Santa Cruz, Tijuca and Centro. Alternatively, it is possible to register online.

Inclusion of people with disabilities (PwD)

The municipal job bank also offers 744 positions exclusively for people with disabilities. PcD candidates can apply by sending their resume to the email vacaspcd.smte@gmail.com or visiting the Integrated Care Center for People with Disabilities (Ciad), in downtown Rio. This space, previously reserved exclusively for PcD, now also serves workers in general.
