800 job openings at Japan's Modec in 2020 for FPSO fleet

The job openings foreseen by Modec for next year include technical secondary education and higher education professionals in engineering

800 jobs for professionals in secondary and higher education are planned by the Japanese company Modec for next year in Brazil. Wood Macaé closes the week with job vacancies for onshore work regime.

The multinational projects hiring for the offshore and corporate sector. The good news is due to the expansion of the company's fleet, which currently has six vessels under construction, four of them for the Brazilian market, one for Mexico and another for Australia.

At the moment, Modec operates ten FPSOs in Brazil and has contracted the units Búzios, in the Santos Basin, and Marlim, in the Campos Basin, among others.

The Japanese has been active in Brazil since 2003, and currently has 10 platforms in Brazil. In 2021, Modec expects to deliver the FPSOs Carioca MV30 and Guanabara MV31, and the FPSOs Almirante Barroso MV2022 and Anita Garibaldi MV32 are scheduled for 33.
